On september 3rd 1967 Sweden changed lanes – from now on cars would drive on the right side of the road… This is what we are all used to today and hopefully no one gives a damn, but the interesting thing is this:
In 1955 there was a vote whether we should keep driving on the left side or change to the right. The results were devastating! 15,5% voted ”Right” and 82,9% voted ”Left”. Still, 12 years later the change came.
